Daily Channeling for Oct 23, 2009.

June: Hi! the ways of slowing down...

* Which ones work for you?

June:
Counting backwards from 10 to 1

Breathing deeply

Doing the Silva method

Lying down and getting warm under a blanket

Praying

Promising myself that I will take care of myself

Observing myself from the eternal part of myself, seeing that I am going through
something, seeing what it is from a perspective of my eternal self. This automatically
puts me in a different place, and I remember that I am not my anxiety at that moment.

* Okay. What we can add is remembering to tell yourself that you are currently on a different dimesion because you speeded up, and in some cases chose to leave your body because you felt too much pain staying in it. Congratulating yourself that you know how to leave bad situations, and that you will come back later when you have better tools to handle the situation. Leaving to another dimension is the rest the person needs to get the tools to deal with what is going on.

June: It doesn't feel like you are getting tools when you are anxious.

* No, but when you realize you are feeling anxiety, you shift your attention to focusing on how to make yourself feel better.

June: It was helpful to me in realizing that anxiety is a certain state of being, and that it is not a catastrophe, but rather a defense mechanism of the body to protect us from deep pain.

* Yes, and it also brings healing, because a person seeks to get out of the situation that brought him to anxiety. Anxiety is a call to healing, the first stop on the way sometimes, but the first step is always the important one!
