Daily Channeling for June 8, 2010
June: Sitting on my porch enjoying a very nice view of the forest with a wonderful cool breeze coming through the screen windows.
* What is with your dog?
June: Barry seems to be a mirror of me, reflecting what I am feeling, doing, feeling about what I am doing. He nudges me when I am at the computer.
* Does he know you love him?
June: I think so.
*You think so?
June: Well, lately I have grown frustrated with his behavior, and it taints my love feelings.
* Well, he feels that and you need to break the cycle, by showing UNCONDITIONAL love to him. Practice it on your dog, it will prove useful in the rest of your life too.
June: So he is not a mirror, reacting to my vibe?
*No, it is your vibe towards him that he is reacting to, he is constantly looking for the reassurance through wishing to be patted,played with, taken out, fed, you name it, he wants it.
June: This makes a lot of sense. Very helpful. Thank you. I will turn the frustration to compassion, and have the place for unconditional love inside of me, towards him.
*Do you see and notice that he has already calmed down, by you just thinking about him differently?
June: Yes. Compassion. What is your definition of compassion?
*The willingness to forgive by understanding that the hurt you experienced was not directed at you intentionally. Many times frustration is the way we personalize things in our lives....
June: Your lives too?
* All entities have developmental stages...
June: wow, I thought you guys were perfect.
*It is all relative, and we are all interconnected.
June: Buddha spoke about compassion, generosity and wisdom.
* Those are timeless ingredients of the successful human condition.
June: One more question if I may, why did you create the ego?
* We didn't. You did.
June: What?
*Humans who disconnected from source lived according to their ego and it became part of the human upbringing which always needs to be unlearned. The ego was not part of the initial plan, it was the human race making its life a bit more difficult.
June: Oh, so it is not needed?
*Of course not. It only wreaks havoc. It does not serve you. Healthy self views are not egos, they are healthy self views. Do not confuse the two, for they are not the same at all. One is helpful, the other is quite detrimental.
June: Do the readers know the meaning of ego in the context that I am asking?
* Most do, for those who don't, Ekhart Tolle's book is a fantastic explanation about it.
June: The Power of Now, or A New Earth?
* Whichever one the reader picks.
June: Thank you. I need to go to work.
* Blessings, Little One.
