* On the southern tip of Hawaii, where the lava flow is the most current, a new island is being formed as we speak. The lava is coming out of a hot spot in the ocean and in tens of thousands of years will be a new island. Other islands such as Kaui will turn into sand strips and sink slowly back into the earth. Nature is forever evoluting, changing, and expanding and contracting, as the pulse of life ebbs through her as it does throughout all of creation.
