June: I saw a turtle crossing the road, and thought he was lost and brought him home and put him in my vegetable garden. Look how curious my dogs were! I let him go in my open forest behind my house after around a half an hour of playing with him, patting him, and taking pictures.
He was a box turtle and I later found out on the internet through a friend, that they do not like leaving where they were born and will always go back there if they can. It said that the turtle can get back if the new place is no more than half a mile away.
* and you feel guilty about not knowing that?
June: Yes, I truly didn't know and am not sure if my house is less than half a mile away from where I found him. I thought I was saving him from passing cars.
*You did save him from passing cars, and he will find his way home safely. He was not too far away. He communicated with you, did you notice?
June: Yes, I did. He was looking me in the eye, and opening and closing his mouth ever so gently. Very pretty little turtle. I really loved him.
*And that love passed on to him, without language or channeling, just the vibe of love. The turtle felt it and opened up to you. Good for you June!
